Finding the building
The hospital is the four-storey brick building on the corner of G Road, with the name board above the ground-floor entrance and a small tower on the roof. Outpatient reception is on the ground floor, to your right as you come in.

Come straight to the hospital. Do not wait for an appointment and do not wait for a call to be answered first.
Come at once for
- Chest pain, or pain spreading to the arm or jaw
- Sudden difficulty breathing
- Heavy bleeding that will not stop
- A fit, or sudden confusion, weakness or slurred speech
- Serious injury, a bad fall, or a road accident
- A child who is limp, unresponsive, or breathing fast and struggling
- Severe dehydration, especially in a child or an elderly person
While you travel
- Bring the patient's current medicines in their boxes if you can do it without delay. Do not go back for them.
- Bring the CNIC of the patient or the guardian.
- If you know the hospital record number, have it ready — it opens the file at once.
- Call ahead if someone can, so the emergency room is expecting you.
Some conditions need a larger centre. If a case belongs in Bahawalnagar or Multan we will say so plainly and stabilise the patient first.
